By experimenting with traditional crafting techniques, like macramé or embroidery, I find my own way of using them in a different, more modern manner. The slowness of the process of making something by hand is meditative. It gives you time to ponder and readjust while you’re making. I like to alternate between small and detailed embroidery work and larger wall hangings.

I want to keep learning crafting techniques and experimenting with different materials. Each technique has their own range of possibilities to explore.
